Yesterday we went to Grand Canyon. not The Grand Canyon, but Grand Canyon. Wow……
Some pictures of our trip to and from Grand Canyon. Tomorrow we head into Navajo and Hopi country.
First this munchkin/hobbit sized chapel on US 180 elev. 8,000 ft.

Then the two”Yes I was there, it is amazing and it is a big drop pictures. The first on is at Kolb Studio in the Main Grand Canyon Village. The dark line behind my head is the Bright Angel Trail where the mules go into the canyon. The last picture is at Hopi Point. And yes that boulder stood between me and a 2,000 foot drop.

This blog has been quiet for the last few days in preparation for our annual HCPL Staff Day. We did a summation (but not final thing..if you haven’t finished you still have time!) of the program. There was a slide show of blogs for the completers, congrats to all who ran the tech fair, and a prize drawing with three items presented to staff. I was lucky enough to win one..*the Wii* don’t you know.
After staff day, my wife and I took off for the somewhat large hole in Arizona. Not familar with it? Here is a picture:

We are staying in Flagstaff for a couple of days, and did you know that Flagstaff is on top of an inactive– I hope and pray– volcano. I will check in and post pictures if I get a chance.
